Third Man Records has announced their opening of a new pressing plant!,
Set to be operating over at West Canfield Street in Detroit’s Cass Corridor, the plant is boasting “BRAND NEW record presses” as they have purchased eight presses from a German startup named Newbilt. A window in the Third Man satellite shop they’re opening will also let you watch the process.
Right now the plant will only be pressing records from the label, but may expand to help out other indie labels as well. All good news!
